Timesheets in Excel? That no longer cuts it.

Since 2022 it has been clear: every business in Germany must record working time systematically. Yet in many companies the paper sheet still lies at reception or the Excel spreadsheet sits on the shared drive. Now TimeTracker launches, the time recording tool of the Team.Qube suite: one click to clock in, checks against German working-time law included, hosted in Germany.

The legal situation

The obligation has applied since 2022.
Many ignore it.

In September 2022 the German Federal Labour Court ruled that employers must introduce a system that records the start, end and duration of working time, including breaks. For overtime and work on Sundays and public holidays, the recording obligation under § 16(2) ArbZG applies in any case.

Paper sheets and Excel lists only meet this on paper. Entries can be changed unnoticed, nobody checks rest periods, and when the authorities ask, the search begins.

The tool

Clock in, work, clock out.
TimeTracker does the rest.

TimeTracker runs in the browser and as an app on smartphones. Breaks, overtime, holidays and working-time law checks run automatically. Designed for teams of 5 to 500 employees.
